Amelia's POV:
The first thing I register is the cold.
It slips beneath my skin, not sharp, just there—a quiet reminder that I’m not where I’m supposed to be.
I groan as I slowly open my eyes to a gray sky.
My head is throbbing.
“Where am I?” I groan, sitting up.
I look around me and all I see are my unconscious teammates and trees. I'm in the forest, but the air smells different. It's not the one surrounding the pack.
Ash stirs first and practically jumps up when he opens his eyes, popping his claw and immediately takes a fighting stance with such a menacing gaze.
His eyes soften when he sees me, and he relaxes his muscles.
Sophia and Celeste wake up next and soon we get tired of waiting for Corrin to wake.
