CHAPTER THIRTY: "Daddy issues."

I was staring at my old notebook where I put every lyrics that I used to sing when a knock on my door interrupt my staring contest. Mayk's face showed up. I look at him questioning. "You wanna come with me?"
It's his first time asking me out since I stay here. I close my notebook ask. "Where? It was your first time asking me out." I laugh a little.
Mayk walk and sit beside me. I look at him confused. "Is there a problem?" I ask again. He look like he wanted to tell me something. "It will be a family dinner." My hope of having a time with him fell down.
One thing I never expected to happen here. A family dinner. I will be seeing them. My Aunt and my Grandmother in my Father's side. "He will be there?" I ask and he nod.
Now I was having a second thought if I want to come with him
