Det. Marvin Sullivan felt tired of chasing after a ghost-like enemy. He felt like he was on a goose-chase, playing the serial killer's game, and he needed a different strategy. He can't continue following whatever useless clues the serial killer was leaving for them.
"What are you doing, Marvin?" Fred asked when he arrived at the station. He was not shocked to see his best friend at the station so early.
"I realized that the serial killer is going after men who did or doing bad things towards women. So I figured, instead of waiting for the serial killer's next move-"
"You want to figure out who her next target will be." Fred cut him off as he nodded. "That's smart. That serial killer doesn't leave any evidence at all."
"I know, so I figured if we can guess whoever among these men did the most horrible things, then maybe we can figure out the next target."
