After Lexie arrived, it was as if everything fell into place. I noticed she was spiraling into anxiety and I needed to calm her down, so that's what I did. I went to her and let her know everything was okay. She didn't complain, didn't make any demands, didn't ask for any explanation for my deplorable behavior that morning. She only asked me one question, and it was as if she knew everything - all my fears, all my longings. God, it wasn't possible for a woman to be more perfect!
Yes, what I'd been searching for was right in front of me. She was the one I'd been looking for my whole life, she was what I wanted from life, she was the woman I wanted to share my life with.
