Liam nodded slowly. "Okay."

Jasper poured more wine, the alcohol warming Liam’s cheeks. "So," he said. "Tell us about yourself."

"Like what?" Liam asked.

Julian leaned forward. "Everything."

Jasper grinned. "You know, you’re more interesting than I thought."

Liam blushed. "Thanks?"

Julian chuckled. "Don’t mind him." He stood up, offering his hand. "Come. Let’s get you to bed."

Clara barely remembered falling asleep. She woke to soft morning light leaking through the curtains. The bed was warm. Too warm. For a second, she forgot where she was. Then it hit her.Liam’s house. The scandal. The video. Her parents slamming the door in her face. She sat up slowly, her head pounding. The bedroom door creaked open.“Morning,” Liam said, stepping in. “You look better.”Clara managed a small nod. “Thanks… for yesterday.”“You were in rough shape.”“I still am.”Liam walked in with a tray—toast, orange juice, and a cup of warm tea.“I made this just in case you were too tired to get up.”“You didn’t have to–”“Stop saying that,” he interrupted, placing the tray in front of her. “You’re my sister, Clara. You don’t have to earn kindness.”Her eyes watered a little. “You’re… different.”“Yeah,” he said. “You noticed.”She picked up the toast with shaky hands, but didn’t eat.“I don’t think I can hold anything down.”“You need to try. I also called someone.”Clara blinked.

She didn’t argue. He disappeared into his room and returned with a clean hoodie and sweatpants.“Here. Bathroom’s down the hall. Towels are in the cabinet.”Clara took the clothes, hesitating for a second. “Thank you.”He nodded and walked away.In the bathroom, Clara peeled off the wet clothes and dried herself with a soft towel. She put on the hoodie — it smelled like fresh laundry — and pulled the sweatpants on slowly. They were big on her, but warm. Safe. She looked at herself in the mirror.Messy hair. Puffy eyes. No makeup. Just her.Not Mrs. Davenport. Not the face from the scandal.Just… Clara. For a second, she almost didn’t recognize herself.Back in the living room, Liam was already in the kitchen.“You hungry?” he asked, heading to the kitchen.“I... I could eat something small,” Clara replied, still standing in the middle of the room, soaked and unsure.Liam didn’t say anything else. He opened the fridge, grabbed some eggs and bread, and started making something simple.C

Clara knocked once. Then twice. She could hear the TV inside. The laughter. The voices. It was raining now, the kind that soaked through everything in seconds. Her hair clung to her face, her sweater heavy and wet.She stood at the front door, trembling, clutching her bag like a lifeline. The door creaked open. Her mother’s face appeared, sharp and pinched. “What are you doing here?”Clara’s lips trembled. “I didn’t know where else to go.”Her father’s voice rang from inside. “Who is it?”“It’s Clara,” her mother said flatly. “Back from her public porn debut.”Clara flinched. “Please… I need somewhere to stay. Just for tonight. Just till I figure something out.”Her father appeared beside her mother. “Didn’t we raise you better than this?”“You married me off,” Clara said quietly. “To the Davenports. You pushed me into that life.”“And you couldn’t even hold it together,” her mother snapped. “Do you know the shame you’ve brought to this house? The neighbors are whispering. Church has

The receptionist didn’t even glance up as Clara stepped off the elevator, her face hidden behind sunglasses and a scarf. She moved quickly. The corridor was quiet. Each step echoed as she neared Adrian’s office. Her heart thumped like a drum. Sweat slid down her back. She told herself not to panic. Just go in. Just get the truth. Then she stopped. His office door was open, slightly. She heard voices.A laugh. Then a kiss. She stepped closer and peered in.And there it was.Adrian kissing Victoria.Victoria had her hands in his hair, her mouth pressed to his. And he, he was kissing her back like he meant it. Like he hadn’t just been in Clara’s bed last night. Like she didn’t exist.Clara’s breath caught. Her chest squeezed. She pushed the door open hard.Adrian looked up. “Clara–?”Victoria stepped back, smirking. “Well, well.”Clara yanked off her sunglasses and scarf. “You bastard.”Adrian blinked. “What are you doing here?”“I could ask you the same thing,” Clara snapped. “But it’s

Her legs felt heavy as she moved to the kitchen. She poured a glass of water but didn’t drink. Her phone lit up again. A message this time. Victoria: “You might want to check the news, sweetheart.”Clara’s heart dropped. She grabbed her phone with trembling fingers and opened Twitter. Her name was the first thing she saw.#ClaraDavenportExposed#DavenportDrama#JulianDavenportwifeThen the pictures. Her body. Her moans. Her face. Her breath caught. “No… no, no—”She scrolled faster. The videos were edited—choppy, grainy—but the lighting was clear. She fumbled with his belt, yanking his zipper down, freeing his cock. She sank down onto him in one motion, both of them gasping at the friction.“Fuck, you’re so tight,” Adrian gritted out.“Just shut up,” she snapped. “Shut up and fuck me.”And he did.He gripped her hips hard, slamming her down onto him with each thrust. She wrapped her arms around his neck, her head falling back as she took him deeper, deeper, until she couldn’t tell where he ended and she began.“You love this, don’t you?” His breath was hot against her ear. “You love hating me while I’m fucking you.”“Yes.” It was a hiss, a confession. “I hate you.”He thrust harder, his fingers biting into her skin.“Tell me who owns you,” he demanded. She didn’t want to answer. But her body was betraying her, tightening around him, pulsing with every thrust.“You,” she gasped. “Fuck, Adrian, it’s you.”And then she was coming, shaking around him, her nails digging into his shoulders. He followed, groaning as he filled her, bot
