The days ran by quickly. Thanksgiving was around the corner and institutions were going on holidays.
No more school for Clarissa but she had to focus on the assignment Mrs Elaine had given.
Louis drove Clarissa to Metro Textiles to get the desired fabrics for her project. She settled for a purple fabric which she planned to sew.
Lucas had fully sponsored her shopping spree. They bought sewing machines and other equipment that aided her sewing.
By the time they were done, she was totally spent.
The stairs creaked softly as Louis and the other staff helped Clarissa carry the many shopping bags and boxes up to the second floor.
Clarissa moaned tiredly as she followed with her bag. Her arms were tired, her legs ached, but there was a joy in her heart. She had gotten everything she needed—fabrics, threads, machines, even little decorative pins and lace. It was all so beautiful.
The purple fabric she picked had a soft shimmer and it was so rare. Clarissa could already imagine what s
