I dragged Louis through the house, barely noticing the chaos I was causing—my anger was only getting worse. He struggled to free himself from my grip, but I wasn’t letting go. Not yet. Not until I was done.
When we finally reached my room, I shoved him against the wall without a second thought.
“What the hell are you doing?” he snapped, trying to fix his crumpled shirt. “Who gave you the right to manhandle me like that?”
I said nothing.
“Answer me!” he barked, his voice rising as he took a threatening step closer. “Why did you do it?”
I stayed silent, letting him scream, letting him spill whatever fury he had. He wasn’t ready for what was coming.
