"I do not know; perhaps her brother has sent her to question us," Alfie replied in a similar subdued tone.
"Regardless, let us not jump to conclusions until we ascertain the purpose of her visit. Please open the door," Ethan instructed quietly.
Alfie then opened the door.
"You may come in," Alfie said.
"Thank you for your hospitality," Jane replied, smiling as she entered with poise.
"Please, take a seat," Alfie offered.
Jane sat, surveying the surroundings of the house.
"What brings you here unexpectedly?" Alfie asked.
"Well, I am here to speak with both of you. Which one of you is Ethan?" Jane inquired.
Alfie and Ethan exchanged glances once more.
"Why are you specifically seeking Ethan?" Alfie countered.
"I simply wish to meet Ethan in person, as I have heard much about him from my brother Steven. Now that I have the opportunity, I wanted to see him," Jane explained.
Ethan interjected, chuckling as he introduced himself, "Haha, I am Ethan."
