“Why do I feel like each time we get close to winning, another problem arises taking us back to square one?” I sighed.
“What’s the Book saying?” Kai asked, bringing in another sick person.
“Da-ji has gone oddly silent, I can't even get a response out of it.” I said, massaging my temple.
“Da-ji?” Zeke muttered.
“Oh, that's the name of the Book. How about we get a message across to Queen Belinda? She may have a solution.” I asked, facing Natasha.
“We can't risk it. Creating a portal is sure to attract the Lumi and Tyler. We agreed not to use magic within the fortress.” She replied, making creases appear on my forehead.
