I had felt like I was immersed in a sea of darkness, unable to move and unable to feel anything other than my own agony.
My body had been through the ringer over the years all thanks to Toris the bitchy Dark Fae, but this felt different because I was trapped with no way out. There was no hope of escaping wherever I was. It left me feeling hopeless and helpless instead.
The darkness began to recede after a while. Everything looked completely different when I finally escaped that darkness. The room was pristine white, and I was attached to noisy machines. Where the hell was I? Did the Dark Fae find me and bring me back to their base?
The most handsome male alive tried to calm me down after I freaked out about Toris finding me. By the gods he was incredibly handsome with those tattoos and what little I had seen of a body that looked like it was carved from perfection.
