Alec's POV
I sat still in my chair lost in thoughts as Rome rambled on, giving me his reports but I could barely hear a word he was saying, not when my mind was totally occupied with thoughts of Ember.
Never in a million years would I have expected Ember to suddenly kiss Tyler and I out of the blues in the presence of everyone. Although I was a little disappointed when I discovered that she only did it out of the influence of what she was drugged with.
My eyes burnt in fury once I remembered that someone actually dared drug Ember with lecherous thoughts in mind. Too bad he died by her hands and not mine. He would have experienced worse things than death.
Ember kissing Tyler and I was not the only shocking thing that blew our minds, finding out she actually killed different wolves from the Howling moon pack was more shocking. A smile crept on my face as a proud feeling washed over me.
