William closed the door of their bedroom and picked Rosaline up.
He strode to the bathroom and sat her on the sink. She jumped down immediately and splashed her face with water.
“This is much more refreshing than wiping it.” She winked at him in the mirror.
After freshening up, they cuddled in bed.
“Is she always like that?” William asked, caressing her face gently.
“More or less, depending on her mood. She wanted a grandson. I used to think I should still be filial since she is my grandmother and old. But her accusations today crossed all boundaries. Even though I was worried about that too.”
“She is the one who is wrong, don’t beat yourself with it too much.”
“I won't tolerate and ultimately enable her behavior anymore. There can be no relationship without mutual respect. It’s not a one-way street, or so I was told by my therapist.”
