Eliyana was livid.
No one had ever talked back to her like this.
“You are a curse. My daughter does not have a son because of you.”
“My parents do not care what my gender is. Besides, you have two grandsons from your son. We don't need to fuss about me. Mom is not going to have a child at this age. Do you think she likes you cursing her only child?”
Rosaline asked her, least bothered about her curse.
“What have I ever said to you that you did not deserve?” Eliyana said righteously.
“Really?” Rosaline was about to retort when Eliyana cut her off.
“Enough! I don’t want to banter with you. You are never up to any good.”
“That works very well for me. Thank you.” Rosaline did not want to argue with her either. It did not matter to her who got the last word.
“Do you own this place?” Eliyana asked out of nowhere.
“Yes.” Rosaline was succinct.
“You should transfer it to Samuel. You don’t deserve to have a palace like this.” Eliyana was direct, as always.
