Tessa asked, “What about their spies?”
Albert replied, “We let them be. We don’t let out anything. We will have to wait until we know the mastermind before we attack them.”
“On the flip side, this is our chance to identify people who would turn. Better to have no help at all than unreliable ones.”
Anthony approved, “They are watching you closely. We are monitoring your watchers closely.”
“We will warn and protect you if there is any danger. But make sure no one sees through your disguise.”
“Do not even breathe the word that you know they are alive. You never know who is eavesdropping. You don’t know if someone has tapped your phones or bugged your room.”
Aria queried, “Is it not risky to tell us? As happy as I am, I feel you should not have told us.”
Anthony frowned, “Lina was adamant about telling you guys after the funeral.”
Rosaline smiled sadly, “I did not want you guys to get sick or something in grief. We are putting our lives in your hands.”
