Rosaline was stunned as William closed in on her trying to kiss her.
As she was in a daze, he whispered, “Say something. I don’t want our first kiss to be like this.”
That snapped Rosaline back to her senses as she closed her eyes and sniffed him taking a deep breath.
As their lips were just an inch apart, she inadvertently looked at a corner and pushed William apart with widened eyes.
“Is she one of your exes again?”
“What are you talking about?”
“Stop pretending! She must be one of your past flings. Otherwise, why would she be glaring at us like that?”
“I told you I don’t have any exes or flings.”
“Oh really, then why don’t you explain the photos in the newspaper last time.”
“That was Pete’s ex-girlfriend. I have nothing to do with her.”
“You are lying. Pete said you guys had a history together. You are neighbors and all that.”
“What do you want me to do to make you believe me?”
