William and Rosaline took their bags from the baggage counter and hailed a taxi to Tessa’s house.
They did not speak en route as they were unsure who was listening.
The only time they ditched and distracted their stalkers was when they had gone to AR Mansion.
“What was that about?” William asked Rosaline as they settled in Tessa's living room.
Tessa was still outside. She was working with Albert and Chandler handling Uncle Kevin’s matters, so they were the only ones in the house.
“I saw my cousin,” Rosaline started, but she did not know where to begin.
Tina had been something of an archenemy since before she could remember. She still did not know why Tina hated her so much.
“I take it you are not close,” William surmised.
“Not close would be an understatement of what we are. Honestly, I’m not sure what we are or why my cousin hates me so damn much.”
William could feel her emotions and helplessness, so he pulled her in his lap, straddling him.
He only said, “I have all the time in
