I was hoping to have a talk with him about all the changes I was going through and get his thoughts or even some suggestions, as I climbed into the limo to surprise him with a special meal I'd prepared his favorite!
My thoughts swirl around my head, with confusion. I can't help but wonder about my growing feelings for Niklaus is it the result of our vampiric nature, or his immortal and stable presence in my life? I trust him implicitly and know that he'll always be there to protect and care for me, no matter what dangers or challenges lie ahead—something I can't do with Kie, he destroyed my trust in him back in Italy.
I recall the way Niklaus saved me from Shade, the way he's always looked out for me, even before that and the way he makes me feel like I'm the only person in the world. My heart races at the thought of him, and I can't deny the strong connection we share. My talk with Lucas also brings up questions that I need answers to.
