Of the three of them, only Jake returned to report. Luca and Jordan immediately went after any traces of Dimitri they found. I felt a little guilty for not telling them straight away that I saw Dimitri, because before I thought he was just my imagination.
"We found no other evidence other than the few traces that Luca and Jordan found," Jake said as he threw himself onto the couch in exhaustion, his head up to the ceiling. "How can he hide his smell so perfectly?" he muttered with a deep frown.
"Vincent did that too. He disguised himself as a human for years," I answered.
'Dimitri and Vincent are both half Leykan blood, and one of their strengthsishiding their scent so they can't be detected," I continued seeing Jake's confused expression.
"As long as they don't use Leykan's powers that they hide," said Alex who sat on the sofa across from Jake. He had been silent since earlier, after hearing Dimitri managed to escape from the Night Walker's territory his expression turned stiff.
