Out of the room, Kaze let out a sigh and went to the door to shut. “Albert!”
“That’s quick, sir.”
Albert drew close with a strange look on his face.
Kaze knew that Albert had gotten the wrong idea. He said peevishly, “I applied acupuncture on her to remove the drug from her body. It doesn’t take long.”
Albert’s gaze fell on Kaze’s face. He pointed at his face and said, “Give it a wipe, sir.”
Kaze took his phone out and checked his face against the black screen. His face and neck were covered in lipstick.
He was busy removing the toxin from Snow’s body to remember the kisses.
Albert was kind enough to hand Kaze a napkin. Kaze took the napkin and wiped his face.
“Mr. Lee…”
Morgan walked in to find Kaze cleaning his lipstick-stained face. Though taken aback, Morgan pretended he saw nothing.
Kaze cleared his face of lipstick and cleared his throat awkwardly. Acting like nothing ever happened, Kaze said, “What is it, chief?”
“Here’s the thing, Mr. Lee. Mr. Kra
