CLARA'S POV
I had hardly been expecting that question and not to say the least, the closeness of his nearness was far too much for me to bear as I stood there watching him.
"Um, Clara. I might not be human but I understand that when asked questions, it is the human way to give answers." Clover said to me.
"And what do you want me to say?" I asked her.
"You speak as though my opinion counts. Either way, I would have been expecting something like a yes." She said suggestively to me.
"Yes? Clover, he's my professor." I said to him,
"Didn't stop you from kissing him the other day." She said to me,
"I'm just a lowly wolf. He's an Alpha." I said to him,
"Even better and spicier. When you say yes, your romance will go down in history as the best one yet." She responded.
"You're not helping..." I said to her,
"Clara, does my question frighten you?" Professor Derrick's voice cut into my thoughts.
