I kid you not when I say this woman was made to test every fibre of patience that courses within me. Gerzi had left when we went to the human colony, going back to the Regency to ensure everything was doing fine and I had finally managed to sever Leila from Marie. A rather dirty work I might admit, but it was for the best. I wasn't walking any further with a creature nuturing a festering resentment against me. Especially in the event that I was the one who saved it.
For days now something just felt off. I couldn't place my finger on it but I knew staying around would eventually prove what it was.
