Leila's still sleeping when I decide to take a walk. Something has been bothering her over the last couple days, she won't say, but her nightmares indicates that something is wrong. Winter has gotten worse, and I've gathered enough men to reinforce the bungalows, though as much as the cold doesn't necessarily bother us, extended exposure will render us immobile; just the same as humans. A werewolves internal heating can only stand so much, the same with wild wolves. It's the same reason they cudddle together in dens, as much as they hunt when needed.
My mind conjurs the weirdest thing, seeing a small woman with thin graying hair before me. It's not to be, since no female werewolf ventures here- no woman actually at that, which is the reason why keeping Leila safe is imperative.
It's not a mirage I come to understand when I draw closer and the woman doesn't disappear from sight. Her skin is wrinkled, nails long and curled and she wears a devious smile that b
