My feet takes me back ans forth, around and around in the same space outside Grayson's door. I'm sure he knows I'm out here making a fool of myself, but this time my issue isn't with seeing him. I'm trying to rationalize if I've lost my wits or not.
Daina practically threatened both of us. She threatened me within the hearing and presence of her Alpha, without an ounce of remorse or care.
I'm still surprised he hasn't humbled her, or even unsure of the reason why he puts up with her.
Maybe he feels guilty for casting her aside and choosing me as his mate?
She was a pain in the ass as the Gamma female. I'm sure every bid good riddance of her the moment she fell off her high horse.
"I think you should reward Daina for all the hard work she's put in over the last few years."
Grayson glances above his shoulders at me before going back to what he did.
"Over the years?" He questions. "I already had, it was a disaster. She doesn't need anymore
