She sat there wondering how long it will take Alec to return.
"What if he did not come back for days? Do I have to stay here for all those days or go back and forth from my room?" she thought hard in her head.

Just when she was about to go to the door, it flew opened and the maid from before breezed in breathing heavily, as if she was being chased by someone.
"I'm sorry I kept you waiting, please pardon me. Your breakfast/lunch is ready" she said formally.
