Kabanata 16: First Time
I picked up the small purse I brought with me when Cai opened his car door. Nakangisi akong bumaba ng kanyang sasakyan.
He's wearing a v-neck navy blue shirt with white buttons. It's tucked inside his denim pants with black belt. Inalam ko talaga kung ano ang balak niya susuotin upang mag-match kami.
So, I wore a navy blue tube with sweetheart neckline and mid-high denim flared jeans. My hair was tied in a neat bun and I put on some light makeup.
Maraming tao ang naglalakad sa sidewalk kahit mainit. The city has no trace of plastics, cigarette sticks, or whatever litter. In between the two roads are bike lanes with trees which has pink flowers lined on the sides. According to what I know, this city is booming and is progressing rapidly. When compared to its condition years ago, this is way better especially the traffic. Paano ba naman, napalitan na ang mayor at ang governor na matagal ng nakaupo. Those were only from what I heard.
