Kabanata 20: Marangyang Buhay
Nakatulog nga ako sa kama niya.
Nakapikit pa rin ang mga mata ko, pinoproseso ang mga bagay-bagay.
Nagpa-party pa rin ba sila sa baba?
Marahan akong dumilat, naka-dim ang ilaw ng kanyang kwarto.
Nagpalit ako ng posisyon, ngayon nakahiga sa kabilang gilid at nakaharap kay Caio na tahimik na natutulog sa tabi ko. Ang dalawang unan na nasa pagitan namin ay dahan-dahan kong inalis. Nilagay ko lang naman iyon kanina dahil sa inis.
Despite the dim light, I can still somehow see his facial features and I can't help myself but to admire. From his thick brows, his eyes in which the eyelashes were probably much prettier than mine as they are on a wave, his roman nose, and his lips...
Even though he seems a bit smiling with how the narrow — which were a bit longer than the others'— oral commissures of his thin lips are slightly angled up, his resting face still looks intimidating especially if you just first saw him or you don't actually know him.
I licked my lips.
