Evelyn's Pov
My eyes moved from one person to another, there were 5 men all of them looking rather rugged and it wasn't hard to smell the rogue on them. All of them were looking at me as if I was just a piece of flesh and I remember this feeling…it was a cold and dark and bitter place for my heart to go down to but I remembered it.
I closed my eyes and told myself that I was not as weak as I had been back then because I had gotten stronger with training but I was still out of their number from the looks of things and I couldn't call for help before I would be able to grab my phone, someone would probably attack me.
My heart was pounding with a realization that these people were probably watching me the entire night and it was only now that they decided that they were going to come and get me as I was no longer surrounded by guards and my husband was also not around. So this had been clearly planned but how did they know that I was even going to be at this club in the first place?
