Dave and Gwen sat at the dining table in the evening. It was a small, portable table near the kitchen that Amber had bought for this house when she was here. Dave and Gwen, sitting across from each other. Unknowingly to Dave, he wasn't eating his food. His fork and knife rested on the plate, and he had taken only a few bites. Meanwhile, Gwen had almost finished her meal and noticed that Dave was absentmindedly playing with his food.
"Do you not like the food?" she asked.
"I do," he replied.
"What's the matter? Why aren't you eating?" Gwen paused, and they exchanged glances.
"You've been moody since you came back from work. Is there something wrong with your new job? Is Adrian causing problems?" she inquired.
"No," he shook his head.
"Then what's bothering you? Why can't you share it with me?" Gwen asked.
