"What happened? Mr. Adrian didn't show up at his aunt's party," one of the family members said to the hearing of those around her, as the party grew livelier. It was Adrian's aunt, Sarai's retirement party, and a multitude of people were entering her gigantic house and beautiful compound. Sarai, in her sixties, welcomed her invited guests with embrace.
Upon hearing those words, Diana couldn't help but interject, assuming a presumptuous tone.
"He personally told me that he would be here," she stole a glance at the lady and her friend. The people next to her table turned to see who had spoken.
"Is this Adrian's girlfriend?" one woman whispered to another.
"Adrian has never introduced anyone as his girlfriend. He's the most desirable and attractive billionaire in the country," another lady chimed in.
