Luke, one of Adrian's covert guards who was always by his side outside of work, stood while Adrian sat in the sitting room on the third floor of his house. Adrian rarely used the upper part of his house, preferring to stay on the first floor. His appearance and the ongoing conversation with Luke indicated that he might not be prepared to go to work that morning.
"The moment I encountered Diana at the hospital and heard her speak, I sensed something was amiss. She was visibly shaken, fear in her eyes and trembling lips." Adrian continued discussing with Luke when Amber ascended the stairs. Spotting his guard standing close to him, she kept her distance and waited.
"Diana has implicated Noah..." Luke said.
