Brian’s POV
Standing next to the stands, I held Bella my Appaloosa. Every year I show the new fouls of my stud.
She was gorgeous. I loved talking to her, patting her soft fur. Animals were devoted and did not turn on you. Did not break and crush your heart as if it meant nothing in the first place.
“Next Mr. Brian Luiff, founder and owner of the Misty Mountains rodeo, will be showing off his beautiful new Appaloosa and…..” I heard the announcer say.
Walking slowly into the ring, I felt her staring at me. Her scent filled my mind.
“Mate, mate is here!!” Cayden is jumping and wags his tail like a puppy.
“Calm down, not now” my voice is stern.
I looked up and saw her standing in one of the stands. She has got tears in her eyes. She is looking between me and another guy standing next to a blond.
