I ran to the guest room and there was nothing left of my clothes. I searched for the zip bag Madison gave me but it was gone. Even the phone Avery gave me had disappeared.
"No...no..no !" My eyes were beginning to sting. That was the only thing I had against Felix.
I kept looking till I came across a piece of cardboard, it had something written in red on it.
It read - A naive rabbit should stay in its hole.
I had no idea what that meant. It kind of sounded amusing but I knew it held a more threatening meaning.
" Hey, this place is dumped. We should go.” Logan suddenly said,peeking his head through the door.
I jumped and quickly hid the note under my T-shirt behind me. He raised a brow looking at me. " Are you okay?”
My hands were trembling as I faked a smile. "Yeah, I'll be right outside."
He stared at me for a moment and then left. Sighing in relief and fear, I left the note there and went outside.
I walked up to Eren; he was a cop, so maybe he would be able to help
