Katrina’s point of view
“So, what does everyone think?” I ask, my hand in my pocket, as I look at the more than fifty men in the command centre getting instructions about the attack.
We are finally going to war. I am nervous. I have always done this with Dad, but this was different. I was leading these men, and their lives were my responsibility.
Joshua gives me an affirmative nod. When he came back two days ago, he told me about How Bianca wasn’t willing to let the Civilians go despite some of them being slaves.
I catch Xavier walking into the room, and I do a once-over before shifting my attention back to the leaders.
“Five hundred white-coat soldiers. Half of them will attack and half will defend. Gerald, you and your men will be stationed here. You will only attack once Josh gives the signal.” I said to Gerald, who nodded his he.
