I could recognise that voice anywhere. What happened to Katrina?
‘She is fine’ Zane, my wolf echoes as I try to fight off the wolves who are charging towards me. I cannot keep my emotions in check. Every time I move further away, my mind travels back to Katrina’s screams.
Her plan was working, and we were pushing the rogues back, but what worries me is that I cannot see Gamma Suri.
What if we were wrong? I throw the body of the rogue on the ground before charging again after the other rogue. ‘We are not. It is exactly as we had predicted. If Gamma Suri was looking for Bianca, then too bad for her’ Zane growled as we went through the rogue pushing further into the crescent pack. We were finally gaining more ground.
‘Do you think if The King’s Beta died there’s a chance of us getting Katrina?’ Zane asked as I lunged at the wolf in front of me, ripping out his heart and he fell to the ground, groaning in pain.
‘I don’t know. Why do you ask?’ I asked
