One Omega happily told Xavier’s mother, Mrs Blackwood.
“Madam, we have received good news from the southern border. According to rumours, the Dark Alpha has a fierce she-wolf captain under his command! Who do you think she could be?” the omega asked Mrs Blackwood, who beamed with a smile.
She knew it deep inside her that it had to be her new daughter-in-law. She had heard stories of how her daughter-in-law had taken down packs.
Mrs. Blackwood said happily, “That must be Bianca, my daughter-in-law! Who else could it be?”
She shrugged, not believing that finally, her daughter-in-law was getting the recognition he deserved.
She looked up at the sky, clasping her hands together before offering a prayer to the moon goddess.
“I pray to the Goddess of the Moon every day that my son and even daughter-in-law will return safely!”
Other elders joined in before one of them finally said something to Mrs Blackwood.
