"Will the massage make you feel better?" I found myself asking even though I've been trying to keep my distance. She looked really sick, and though this was a bad idea, I could not bring myself to let her suffer when I could actually be of help to her.
She stared at me for a couple of seconds silently, blinking her cute eyes before nodding her head.
"Yes, thank you," her cute little voice made my heart melt in my chest. For a second, I had a second thought about this knowing I might not be able to behave myself later.
Regardless, I put everything away and went to sit beside her on the bed. I felt a tingling sensation in my fingers, my heart pounding hard against my chest like it was going to force its way out of me.
