'Where are you?'
I sent Lucien a message for the umpteenth time, but just like he had done before, I got no reply. It was already getting late and I couldn't bring myself to sleep at home alone. Not after what happened earlier today.
I was going to give up, but thought to give it a try one more time as I dialled his number, but it rang and ended without answer, so I knew I really had to give up this time.
'Hey! Are you there?'
I sent Alexa a message, hoping she was online and would reply to me.
Ten minutes passed and I didn't get a reply from her.
"Fuck!" I ran my fingers through my hair frustratingly.
"Pick up, please... pick up, Alexa." I muttered, pacing in my room and holding my phone to my ear as the call rang. I had just dialled Alexa's number.
