VALERIE
The repulsive smell that managed to sneak into my nostrils forced me to snap my eyes open. I looked around the dark environment and groaned loudly in pain as my head banged. I managed to sit up on the thorny ground and surveyed the environment, slowly absorbing the sight of trees and the thick smoke that hung in the air.
Slowly I realized that I was in a forest covered in frost and smoke and men that I couldn't recognize. I began to wonder how I got there and what I was doing in the midst of horrible-looking men.
They sat around a fire, arguing over matters that I couldn't understand.
Slowly, the memories of what happened before I passed out came rushing into my head. My jaws dropped and my breath ceased.
My heart thumped loudly as I glared at their back, wondering what they might end up doing to me.
“Who are you? What do you want from me?” I snapped.
One of them swept his head back and cackled loudly, tilting his head to the side. The huge scar on his cheek caused m
