I should have been scared at his arrival, but somehow I wasn't. Instead, I was furious for barging into my room unannounced.
“The Luna Queen instructed you to stay away from me!" I snapped.
He chuckled, slipping his hands into his pants pocket.
“The Luna Queen?" He scoffed, and Arlene frowned but tried not to show it.
“Have you forgotten what position I hold in the Pack? I am the strongest and highest member of the Blood Moon Pack, I am the Lycan king of the entire wolf kingdom!" He snapped, pride dancing in his gray eyes.
I narrowed my eyes in disgust and scoffed to his surprise.
“Is that why you're using your power to abuse those beneath you? That isn't power…" I paused, slammed my eyes shut, and, with a thumping heart, spat out the remaining words.
