We were both tensed, it was obvious. My hands shook violently, and my throat went dry.
"Master Xander, I was just---"
"Shut up, and get out of my sight!" His words left no room for an argument, and we both lowered our heads as we scurried out of there. We knew Xander wasnt th merciful type, but it seemed he was starting to maintain his lane, or so he thought.
As we rushed back into the pack house, we bumped into the two people we wanted to see the most. It was my master Hunter, and his cousin Ezekiel.
"Good day master, and mater Ezekiel. How was your day?" I said, and then sighed, my eyes still on Ezekiel. I still owed him an apology for the way I barged until his privacy earlier. "And I'm sorry about what happened earlier."
