“But how,” I ask, incredulous, “That's supposed to be the most secure facility in the world! How could that possibly happen?”
“Indeed,” my husband replies, and I can hear the tension in his voice,”Word is that they had help from someone on the inside. Neither of them would have gotten out otherwise.”
My mate was right to be concerned. It isn’t over yet. With those two running free, none of us are safe.
“What should we do now,” I ask my mate, hating the sound of the fear in my own voice, “How do we protect ourselves?”
“We go home,” my husband replies seriously, “We take every precaution to keep you and the children safe. And we prepare to fight, if we must. But if we need to, we will win. This I swear to you, my love.”
