"Damn" I cussed silently as I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration. I mean how did I even pile up this much paperwork? I was really tired and could use a break. "I know, I'll have Steve look through some of them first before I'll....."
"Drriing! Drriing!" My phone suddenly rang, startling me as it interjected my thoughts.
"Geez, who the hell is it?" I muttered as I stretched my hand over the files on my glass desk and picked up my phone. Looking at the screen, my face grimaced in a mix of disdain and annoyance as I saw my brother's name floating across the screen. It had been quite a while since we talked last so I was kind of skeptical why he was calling.
