Unlike many stars, Rebecca didn’t expect special treatment. Her makeup artist didn’t come to her to beg her to allow her to put her makeup on. Rebecca wouldn’t do that to anyone. She felt it was unnecessarily rude, though she knew some who would fight to prevent the makeup artist from doing their job.
“What happened Becca? It’s not like you being late.” Daisy said. She scolded Rebecca good naturedly. They’d become work friends over the years and comfortable in their friendship.
“I’m sorry someone must have sent me the wrong schedule. I’m cursing myself for not calling to make sure it was correct, but it was so late when I received it, I was afraid to call so late.” Rebecca settled into the makeup chair while Daisy hovered, ready to pounce and do her job.
“Hon, John is in fine form this morning, so I’ll try to get you done as soon as I’m able.” Daisy said. Her words warning Rebecca of what to expect as much as to tell her what she’d misse
