Bruno’s P.O.V
As I stood in my room, staring at the strange package on my bed, I felt a mix of curiosity and anger. Who would send me something like this? Who dared to enter my room without my knowledge? I approached the package and untied the ribbon that bound it. I pushed it to the ground, and a dead bird fell out, with a letter tied to its feet. I picked up the letter and read its contents. It had an inscription written in blood, demanding that I surrender my pack and step down, or face the same fate as the bird.
“Sick bastard," I hissed through clenched teeth. Anger surged within me, mingling with a growing sense of unease. I searched the room, my eyes darting from corner to corner, seeking any sign of the intruder who dared invade my sanctuary.
I immediately mind-linked my beta and gamma and asked them to meet me in my study. I knew I could rely on them for a discreet investigation.
Carrying the parcel with the bird and letter, I entered my study where Daniel, my beta, and Marcel
