“Let me guess, you're embarrassed because I cleaned you up?”
My eyes shut involuntarily, I'm sure my whole body is flushed red from embarrassment.
He wrapped his hands around me, pulling me tight against him, “I never realize my mate could be this cute. But don't you think it's normal for a couple to take care of each other? If you don't want me to do that next time, then I won't. I feel it would be better not to make you uncomfortable around me.”
