GAZELLE’S POV
I was panicking’
Everything I had been trying to hide in the last few hours had come to light, all because of what? A stupid table and some cupcakes.
I couldn’t even look at him now. I was certain that he was regretting all the things he bought for me and even stressing himself to break the bathroom door.
“You have such a beautiful voice,” he commented. “Why do you hide it?”
The question made me raise my head. I certainly wasn’t expecting to hear that from him. I thought he would have figured out my identity from just hearing my voice, but I was wrong. He was totally clueless.
“I don’t care what your reasons are, but I don’t want you to play this silent game all night. I want to talk to you so can you at least tell me your name?” He asked, and I shook my head. In the whole of Wolverine, I was the only one named Gazelle, so telling him that would be a big giveaway.
