Alpha Kayden's POV
"What's wrong, Julius? What's this about Ramona?" I asked calmly. Anything that had to do with Ramona, meant trouble and I knew that quite well.
Julius took a deep breath, his expression serious "It's not something I can explain, Alpha. But I think you need to see this for yourself." He gestured for me to follow him.
I hesitated for a moment, glancing back at the window where Amelia slept peacefully. But my sense of duty to my pack was more my personal desires, there were guards protecting Amelia and the kids after all. I turned and followed Julius, my footsteps quick and purposeful.
The night was quiet and the only sound one could hear was our footsteps as we walked.
