Aurora Pov
The following morning I didn't need the girls wails to wake me up to go to work because I couldn't sleep all night as yesterday, I'd told Loenard everything and by that I meant what I truly was.
"You couldn't come up with a simple excuse for why you needed those pills?" Alaya continues her rants. "Let's go over to Leonard's place and tell him that it was all a lie--a trick"
"We can't, Alaya"
"Why can't we?"
"Because I showed him my fangs and claws, remember?"
"Thankfully it's around Halloween"
"I shifted in front of him and the shock had made him pass out"
Alaya lets out a frustrated wail. "You are impossible, Aurora. How could you think of that? I thought you made a big fuss of him 'not seeing you as a freak', what changed!?"
"I panicked, okay?!. Geez, give me a break, Alaya!"
My yelling had made the girls burst into tears as I speed off to their cribs to hush them in my arms.
"You are antsy, Aurora?"
"Just because it's my first day of work"
