CHAPTER FIFTY ONE
TYLA Point of View
I was still in a state of shock, my heart racing, and my breath coming in short gasps. The scream had been torn from my throat, and now I felt drained, empty. The door to my room burst open, and suddenly, it was filled with people. Jay, Jessica, and a few servants rushed in, their faces etched with concern. "What's wrong, Tyla?" Jessica asked, rushing to my side. I tried to speak, but my voice was barely a whisper. I was still trying to process the nightmare that had just shaken me awake. Or should I say, the hallucination that had triggered this feeling of fear that had now enveloped me. I got out of the bath, completely naked, but I was too scared to care about that at that point. Jessica quickly took charge, ushering everyone out of the room except for Jay. "Give us some space," she said firmly. As the servants filed out, Jessica grabbed a towel and wrapped it around me, holding me close. "It's okay, Tyla," she whispered. "You're safe now." Ja
