Angela and I sat on one side of the table. The opposite side was reserved for the two fuckers who were about to enter this room. “You don't have to be here,” I muttered, glancing at Angela.
She huffed and rolled back her shoulders. “Of course, I have to be here. Those fuckers made a lot of shitty decisions over the years. They played with wolves' lives. Now it's payback time.”
A hint of a smirk curved my lips. “Just remember, you don't have to stay here when things begin to get ugly.”
She gave me a look. “Trust me, there's nothing I want more than to watch those two assholes bleed.”
